On Monday, April 14th, BL2 welcomed visitors from Singapore. In attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Education, Wong Yingyi and Christina Michael, along with Dylis Tim from the National Council of Social Service, and Cindy Lim, the principle of a special education school. They were also joined by Dr. Madan Visishta, Associate Professor in the Department of Administration and Supervision at Gallaudet.
The visitors were fascinated by bilingual teaching methods, the biological equivalence of signed and spoken languages, and VL2’s Bilingual Storybook Apps TheBaobab and The Boy Who Cried, Wolf.
